Showing up matters.
I don’t always have the answers or the perfect words, but I know one thing: showing up matters. Every small effort counts, even when you feel like you have no clue what to say next. This blog is my little corner to explore ideas, share thoughts, and maybe inspire you along the way. Let’s see where it takes us—one word, one step at a time.
When I wrote “Highway 35,” I was chasing a feeling—the eerie quiet of an empty road, the flicker of headlights in the dark, the mystery that never really leaves us. It’s the same feeling I’m chasing here, in this blog: the idea that stories are everywhere, even in the quiet moments we think no one sees. We don’t need to have it all figured out. We just need to keep moving, keep writing, keep creating.
So this second page is a promise to myself—and to you. A promise that even when the words are hard to find, I’ll keep looking for them. Even when the ideas feel distant, I’ll keep coming back. Because that’s how we grow: by showing up, by taking that one small step, over and over again.
